¿Con quién hablo hoy?

What is CuidadIA

No one should grow old forgotten. And yet it happens every day.

Millions of older people live alone. Many go weeks without anyone asking how they are. Loneliness gives no warning, and it kills in silence.

ANA, a voice companion

CuidadIA exists to prevent that. At its heart is ANA, a voice companion that calls the older person every day. A warm, natural conversation. ANA asks, listens, remembers what matters and, if something changes, alerts the family before it becomes an emergency.

It works on the phone they already have. Landline or mobile, it makes no difference. No apps, no screens, no wifi, nothing new to learn. If they can pick up the phone, they already know how to use CuidadIA. And ANA speaks more than forty languages.

And there is something ANA does that the human ear cannot

It analyses the voice. In the tone, in the rhythm, in the words that repeat or go missing, it catches the subtle changes that signal a problem long before it shows. It does not read isolated data, it understands context, and it only acts when it truly matters.

This is not surveillance. No cameras, no microphones listening to the home, no devices scattered around the rooms. Just a voice, and the right attention when something shifts inside. Technology adapts to the person, never the other way around.

Nor is it the old telecare. That waits for you to press a button. CuidadIA calls you. It is proactive, not reactive. Because those who are most alone are the ones who ask for help the least.

On top of that daily call, something more is growing

Three new forms of companionship, in development today alongside clinical specialists.

Caregiver Programme

Behind every older person there is someone carrying the weight in silence, almost always a daughter. ANA calls her too. It listens to how she really is, acknowledges her effort and brings support closer when the exhaustion sets in.

The Memory Chest

Telling your own life does good today and leaves a treasure for tomorrow, the voice of a mother or a father telling who they were. Without it feeling like an interview, ANA opens the door to remembering.

Companionship in Grief

Losing a partner opens the most fragile months of a life. When the family, broken by its own grief, can be there the least, ANA stays close and does not leave the person alone in that void.

CuidadIA does not replace family or professionals

CuidadIA does not replace family or professionals. It accompanies them. It does not control, it cares. It does not watch, it listens.

Ageing at home should mean autonomy, calm, and dignity. The question is who calls tomorrow on those no one calls today.
